Maintenance Inventory Clerk

Job Responsibilities
Experience - 3 years' experience
Storeroom organization: Ensure the parts storeroom is clean, safe, and well-organized for easy and efficient access.
Administrative support: Process maintenance invoices and relate them to purchase orders, create reports, and assist with other administrative duties for the maintenance department.
Record keeping: Maintain accurate electronic and paper records of all parts transactions, including usage, stock levels, purchase orders, and costs.
Part and supply orders: Process requests from maintenance staff, prepare and place orders, and monitor delivery status.
Inventory management: Receive, inspect, label, and stock incoming parts. Perform regular cycle and periodic inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
Attention to detail: Crucial for accurate record-keeping and inventory tracking to avoid errors.
Physical ability: Capable of standing for long periods and lifting heavy items, as needed.
Communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with technicians, vendors, and other staff.
Computer proficiency: Experience with inventory management software and standard office software for data entry and reporting.
Organizational skills: Meticulous and methodical to keep a large inventory organized and accurate.
Create service requests with vendors and follow up with status.
