Job Definition
We are seeking a Director of Product (Payments) to lead the growth of our payments offering beyond our current market. This role is ideal for a product leader who combines hands-on execution with strategic vision—someone who can wear multiple hats, shape the go-to-market approach, and build the foundation for scaling into new verticals. The right candidate will have deep payments expertise and a strong understanding of what drives customer adoption, helping us build a competitive, differentiated solution in the broader payments space. You’ll have the chance to shape and scale an emerging business line within Doxim.
Key Responsibilities
· Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for our payment's product.
· Expand product viability beyond current market into new verticals through market analysis and customer insights.
· Partner with Development, Sales, and Marketing teams to create a go-to-market strategy that drives customer acquisition and revenue growth.
· Build out business cases and define product investment requirements to scale the payments offering.
· Lead customer discovery efforts to understand what will make clients say “yes.”
· Drive competitive positioning to win larger deals and differentiate our payments solution in the market.
· Balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution, ensuring progress from vision to delivery.
Qualifications
· 10+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on payments, fintech, or related financial technology.
· Proven success in building and scaling payment products across multiple verticals.
· Strong understanding of market dynamics, buyer needs, and competitive landscape in payments.
· Experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies.
· Ability to thrive in a startup-like environment within an established organization- flexible, resourceful, and entrepreneurial.
· Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
